WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY CELEBRATED IN PUSHPASADAN

On occasion of the World Environment Day, which falls on June 05 every year, the students of Grades 7 to 10 of Pushpasadan School organized a programme of Environment Awareness among the teachers and students of the school. On the occasion, they performed several demonstrational activities including a dramatization emphasizing on the importance of saving the environment for a healthy life. Participants performed very interestingly before the whole assembly of teachers and students. The programme was jointly inaugurated by the Principal Mr. Ram Dhan Rai and In-charge Mrs. Kabina Shrestha, planting pine trees in the school premises. On the occasion, the Divisional Forest Office, Kathmandu. also donated some decorative plants to the school.

Besides, four students — two boys and two girls from Grades 8 & 9 participated in the Inter-action programme organized by the Kirtipur Municipality at Hill Side Hotel today on occasion of the World Environment Day.
